Lauren Smith Named One of Houston Business Journal’s 2026 Women Who Mean Business
Winstone Wealth Partners is proud to announce that Lauren Smith has been named one of the Houston Business Journal’s 2026 Women Who Mean Business honorees.
The annual Women Who Mean Business Awards recognize women in leadership across the Houston area for their professional accomplishments, contributions to their companies and communities, civic involvement and demonstrated leadership. Lauren joins a distinguished group of 76 women selected for this year’s recognition, representing leaders across a wide range of industries throughout Houston. For the Winstone team, the recognition is particularly meaningful because it celebrates many of the qualities Lauren has brought to the firm throughout more than a decade with Winstone Wealth Partners.
During that time, Lauren has grown alongside the firm, continually taking on new challenges and greater responsibilities while becoming an integral part of Winstone’s leadership. Today, as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner, she helps lead the business and its team while remaining deeply involved in serving the clients and families who have trusted Winstone over the years.
Lauren is often described within Winstone as the person who keeps countless moving pieces moving in the right direction. She anticipates what clients and colleagues need, brings thoughtful judgment to complex decisions and is consistently willing to step in wherever she can make a difference.
Her leadership is not about seeking the spotlight. Instead, it shows up in her consistency, work ethic, judgment and genuine care for the people around her.
Lauren also credits much of her own development as a leader to the people who gave her opportunities throughout her career — inviting her to the table, trusting her with greater responsibility, challenging her and giving her room to grow. Today, one of the most rewarding parts of her role is having the opportunity to provide that same support and encouragement to others as they develop their own careers.
